Red Bricks Media was founded by Elliott Easterling and Craig Hordlow in 2004. The two friends slowly built a reputation as an innovative search engine optimization firm despite working amongst spools of power cords and Ethernet cables in Hordlow’s dining room for six months. Over the next few years, the search and performance marketing start-up continued to make a splash, winning respect and business from clients like Hearst Corporation, Pacific Life Insurance, and Seagate. By the end of 2006, Red Bricks Media had morphed into an accomplished digital marketing agency with over thirty employees and 300% in compounded revenue growth. Currently, the agency has more than seventy employees and offices in San Francisco, New York, and Hong Kong. The company continues to win business from top brands. It is headquartered in an actual red brick building at 1062 Folsom Street in the heart of San Francisco’s SOMA district between 6th and 7th Streets.
